Ankle Sprain Healed

I enjoy trail running. Recently, about one mile into a six mile run, I severely twisted my ankle. The intense pain forced me to stop running for a moment. Thoughts of the damage to my ankle, and how I would get home, flooded my thinking. I decided to not listen to those thoughts. The pain was intense enough that the only Scientific thought I could hold to was that: "There is no sensation in matter" (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, p. 237).

I completed my run, though a little slower than I had wanted. The rest of the day, anytime my foot hurt, I reaffirmed that same simple truth. By evening, my ankle had swollen to twice the size of the other ankle. The next day, I woke up with reduced swelling but absolutely no pain in my ankle.

The second day, the swelling was gone and I was able to complete a pain-free six mile run as fast as I had originally planned two days prior.
